Monosaccharide Analysis / Profile

Blue Stream offers a method for Monosaccharide Analysis / Profile. This method utilizes acid hydrolysis to release the carbohydrates of interest, followed by derivitization, and subsequent chromatographic separation with fluorescence detection.

The Monosaccharide Analysis / Profile method has been optimized for separation of many of the common monosaccharides that populate the glycosylation sites of mammalian cell-derived biologics. This method may be further optimized upon client request for the identification and/or quantification of Sponsor-specified monosaccharide species.

The Monosaccharide Analysis method may be used in combination with our N-Linked Oligosaccharide Profiling method to provide comprehensive glycan information - as orthogonal methods.

Blue Stream has also modified and optimized both the Sialic Acid and Monosaccharide Analysis methods for testing of manufacturing and process samples. Please call for more information.
