Blue Stream offers a method for Monosaccharide Analysis/Profile. This method utilizes acid hydrolysis to release the carbohydrates of interest, followed by derivitization, and subsequent chromatographic separation with fluorescence detection.
The Monosaccharide Analysis/Profile method has been optimized for separation of many of the common monosaccharides that populate the glycosylation sites of mammalian cell-derived biologics. This method may be further optimized upon client request for the identification and/or quantification of Sponsor-specified monosaccharide species.
The Monosaccharide Analysis method may be used in combination with our N-Linked Oligosaccharide Profiling method to provide comprehensive glycan information as orthogonal methods.
Blue Stream has also modified and optimized both the Sialic Acid and Monosaccharide Analysis methods for testing of manufacturing and process samples. Please call for more information.
