Blue Stream Laboratories (BSL), a fast-growing biochemical/analytical CRO, seeks a creative, highly-motivated individual who is ready for an exciting, entrepreneurial workplace, and who wants to contribute to a dynamic, success-driven team.

The candidate will lead the development, optimization and application of analytical techniques for biophysical characterization of protein and peptide drug candidates. The Scientist will generate, analyze, and interpret data and subsequently prepare reports and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have an in-depth working knowledge of biochemistry, biophysics, and protein chemistry with an ability to independently develop and validate methods.

• minimum MS in biochemistry, biophysics, or related discipline with 2+ years of post-degree experience

Proficiency in the following biophysical methods for characterizing proteins is important: AUC, CD, DSC, ITC, and SPR.

Other requirements: Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to excel with multiple projects simultaneously and lead projects to closure. Strong leadership skills along with a sense of urgency and ability to work under tight deadlines.
